J O H N   W.   M O O R E ANSWER FOR A BETTER WORLD The period of the Enlightenment fostered a belief that science and human discovery was moving the world to a pristine environment and virtual utopia. Two world wars later, the continual abuse of human rights, social injustice, and horrific acts of violence and terrorism have shown us that man is not “the measure of all things” nor our modern era the apex of human achievement. While religionists and perverted purveyors of biblical truths must share a part of the blame for the sinful acts of human history, at the Dripping Springs church of Christ we believe that the revelation of Jesus Christ still contains the answers for a better world. In the wake of our nation’s recent tragedies the “postmodern” culture will continue to emerge and seek to provide for the world a solution to its problems, but we believe that the model for human behavior has already been discovered in the person of Christ Jesus who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 4:6). Truly, in Jesus there is love, grace and hope for a brighter tomorrow. Join with us in discovering the truth for a better world.
