 The Bible Class material is published by Lambert Book House and has been used at the Dripping Springs Church of Christ for about 12 years. The Living Way curriculum is utilized on Sunday Morning and it is taken from the New Testament. The New Living Bible Lessons are used on Wednesday night and are taken from the Old Testament. The goal is to have each student learn the entire Bible by the time he or she graduates from High School. There is some repetition throughout the student’s career but it just reinforces the learning process. As the child grows the lessons become more detailed and thorough.
The New Living Bible Lesson series is a three-year course designed to cover the Old Testament in all departments: Nursery through Senior High. All student books are in color. The Teacher Manual and Visual Aids give sufficient help to enable the teacher to present the whole story with New Testament and present day applications…a real help to motivate learning and living. This series offers the unique opportunity for all classes to study the same area of the Old Testament at the same time.
We use the ideal combination, the New Living Bible Lessons to study the Old Testament for the Wednesday night period each week and The Living Way to study the New Testament for the other Bible School period on Sunday Mornings. |
