BEMBRIDGE, Winston, St. Catherine, Jamaica, West Indies.
Winston was born on the island of Jamaica. He became a Christian in 1971 and began preaching school at the age of 20. He attended Jamaica School of Preaching and Biblical Studies for 4 years and graduated in 1978. (Prior to attending the School of Preaching, Winston attended St. George’s College Extension School.) Winston received his B.S. degree from Southern Christian University in Alabama.
He has worked with a number of congregations on the island, and has also attended and participated in a number of lectureships and workshops in Texas, Alabama, Georgia, as well as others on the Caribbean Islands. He has been preaching full time for the Old Harbour church since 1986. We are pleased to have a part in their good work. His family includes wife, Dorothy (an accomplished seamstress), and three children: Craig, Shennett, and Dalmain.

ANKIAH, Joshua, Durban, South Africa
Joshua is a native South African of Indian (India) descent. He was born in 1960 and grew up in South Africa during the apartheid era. While living in South Africa, Joshua worked as a Telecommunications Engineer for about 20 years until he was involved in a serious automobile accident which claimed the life of his 6-year-old nephew. Joshua was severely injured, almost to the point of death. After spending three days in intensive care and another month in the hospital, Joshua decided that he was not his own, but he belonged to God. Therefore, he resigned from his engineering career to pursue his calling and came to the United States to attend the Memphis School of Preaching. While attending school, Joshua preached for congregations in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
Joshua graduated from preaching school in January, 2002. After graduating, he went on to further his education through the Fuller Theological Seminary and the Bear Valley Biblical Institute of Denver, Colorado.He and his wife, Linda, have two children, Leah and Luke.
Joshua and his family now work full-time with the Reservoir Hills church of Christ in Durban, South Africa. |

SPRADLIN, Troy, Asunción, Paraguay
Troy Spradlin is from Graham, Texas and is married to Andrea who is from West Palm Beach, Florida. Both have been members of the Lord’s church since childhood.
Troy attended and graduated from the Southwest School of Bible Studies. He is bilingual in Spanish and has worked in several Latin mission fields, including El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, and Paraguay.
Troy and Andrea currently work with the the Sacramento Street, Centro and Capiata congregations in Asunción, Paraguay. |
