BEMBRIDGE, Winston, St. Catherine, Jamaica, West Indies.
Winston was born on the island of Jamaica. He became a Christian in 1971 and began preaching school at the age of 20. He attended Jamaica School of Preaching and Biblical Studies for 4 years and graduated in 1978. (Prior to attending the School of Preaching, Winston attended St. George’s College Extension School.) Winston received his B.S. degree from Southern Christian University in Alabama.
He has worked with a number of congregations on the island, and has also attended and participated in a number of lectureships and workshops in Texas, Alabama, Georgia, as well as others on the Caribbean Islands. He has been preaching full time for the Old Harbour church since 1986. We are pleased to have a part in their good work. His family includes wife, Dorothy (an accomplished seamstress), and three children: Craig, Shennett, and Dalmain.

JONES, Burt, Moundsville, West Virginia
Burt is likely a stranger to no one in this church family. He has been with us on numerous occasions (directing a singing workshop and preaching for us). Also, while in our area, he has done some "taping" work for World Video Bible School. He even comes occasionally "just to be with his family in Drippin'". The feeling is quite mutual!
In January 2000, we began to have a small part in assisting Burt in a financial way as he conducts the "Singing With Grace" workshops. He is composer of the hymn, "Safe In His Arms". Additionally, he is the instructor in the popular four-part video series on music fundamentals, "Singing with Grace, " and has authored "A Practical Handbook for Singing and Songleading," published by Firm Foundation Publishing House. We are confident that wherever Burt goes, he holds forth the word of truth in a commendable way.
Burt is a native of Gadsden, Alabama. He has a military and business background. He is a former combat officer during the Vietnam era. He served as a music director for the Episcopalian denomination for several years. He received his education at Jacksonville State University and Youngstown State University (Master of Arts). One week after Burt obeyed the gospel, he entered Memphis School of Preaching. He is now an Instructor for the West Virginia School of Preaching.
