THE FAITHFUL CHRISTIAN MAN (A Study in Church Leadership)


I. Introduction
A. The roles of men and women are changing in society
1. This has adversely affected the world.
2. This has adversely affected the church.
B. In the church, men and women have many of the
     same obligations. For example:
1. faithful attendance (Heb. 10:24f)
2. faithful devotion (Luke 9:23; Rev. 2:10)
3. pure speech (Col. 4:6; Eph. 4:29)
4. pure lives (I Thess. 2:12; 4:1-8; I Pet. 1:13-16
5. true worship (John 4:24f)
C. However, the faithful Christian man must be actively
     involved in the church which will necessitate his being a leader.
